– visiting Stolpman Vineyard’s tasting room in Los Olivos –

– beautiful blooms – is this a Jacaranda tree!? –

– this guy still giving me butterflies –

– overlooking the Pacific Ocean in one of my favorite road trip combos – this Windsor Store maxi and Target hat

– spending a beautiful day in Monterey –

We began our road trip up the coast (you might see my #cblroadtrip hashtag on instagram) on Sunday and will return home this Sunday.  I’ve never been a road trip kind of person, but this trip has been a little different than road trips in the past.  Christian and I have been blown away with the beauty of God’s creation.  To pull over on the side of the Pacific Coast Highway and whale watch…wow.

It’s been a blast hanging out with my brother and his family and only makes me more excited about their move to LA this summer.  I am a little sad however about returning from vacation life.  I like drinking wine and watching the waves crash along the coast everyday, don’t make me return to a life behind a desk!!!

What are your plans this weekend!? Thanks so much for reading and for all your helpful suggestions along the way! XO –

    1. I have this maxi in both blush and black and I can’t even count how many times I’ve worn them – SO comfortable!

  1. My family did the Cali coast drive when I was younger, but I don’t remember it much! But all your road trip pictures are really making me want to move to Cali…or at least take another road trip out there 🙂

    1. How fun to experience that with your family! You should definitely come back and do it again – the stops along the way are the best part! XO

  2. I’m hoping you share lots of tips and of the fun places you stopped. My sister lives on the West Coast and when she moves back to Ontario we’re planning the ultimate road trip from SF up the coast to Vancouver then across Canada home.

    1. Ok THAT sounds like a trip I want to be on. I’ve never been to Canada and I would love to visit!! Take me with y’all!! 🙂 XOXO

  3. Hello, I love your blog, and I just wanted to know where you purchased the blue maxi dress, who is the designer, and if it’s still available to purchase. Thank you very much, much appreciated

    1. Thank you for reading! It was an eBay purchase two years ago and it doesn’t have a label. I’m sorry!
