When Christian and I first met and starting dating, I was in college and all about the color. Everything I wore was full of bright, cheerful color. And 800 bracelets (I was like a gypsy – lovin’ it). He recently pointed out that for the first few years after college (when I was working at a magazine and a bank’s headquarters), I wore all black all the time. Flash forward to these days in Southern California and I wear solid, breezy whites and light colors nonstop. I think I’m going through phases of the color wheel over here, are any of you like that?

Oh my gosh if only I could workout more often! I try to do yoga and pilates at least twice a week and if I’m lucky I’ll do something active on the weekends. Honestly – my workout routine is pretty pathetic, but with summer around the corner, I need to amp it up! Thank you for your sweet words! XO

Hi Kathleen- I just started following your blog and I absolultey love your style. I love everything about this outfit! I particularly LOVE the hat and the size of the brim. I know you linked a floppy hat from Nordstrom but I was wondering if it was the exact hat? I find usually when I try on floppy hats the brim is MUCH larger than I expected and I feel a little lost in it which i was I love the one you are wearing so much! Thank you!!!!!
