Black Crochet Dress

It’s really easy to get in a “rut” in your closet, wearing the same kinds of pieces over and over again and not stepping out of your comfort zone.  I fall victim to this all the time, and I’m always reminding myself to try new things and step outside the box!

This pretty little dress is a perfect example.  On the hanger, I wouldn’t think to try it on.  But I love the crisp collar with the crochet and the peek-a-boo sheer paneling.  You guys know I love combining feminine pieces with a little edge, and this dress totally nails it.  Ladylike mixed with cool – I love it!  Not exactly your Easter dress, but I’ll be sharing some more Easter-appropriate looks in Instagram!

  2. What size are you wearing in that crochet dress? What size do you normally wear in pants? I’m just trying to get a gauge on what size I should order. Thanks!

    1. I’m wearing my normal size and it fits well. I will say it was a little short on me (I’m 5’7″), so if you’re taller than that, I would consider sizing up for a little extra length. Hope that helps!
