I love a simple slip dress. I styled a black one here and a lace-trimmed one here, but this pink number is a little something special.  It feels ultra feminine, but I paired it with my favorite buttery leather jacket to add some masculine edge.

I love the chicness of a slip dress and that it can be worn so many different way – with a layered sweater (like this), a moto jacket or blazer. I think it’s sexy, classic and minimal in all the right ways.  Honestly, I’d have one if every color of the rainbow if I could. It sounds like my slip dress collection starts… now!

  1. That’s a gorgeous dress! It looks amazing on you! I wish I had the guts to wear something that fitting because it does look really nice.

  2. Slip dresses always remind me of Sex & the City and SJP! I think this is the first time I’ve liked how one has been styled- I used to never think they were flattering. Yet another thing Carrie Bradshaw lied about… ?

    1. Yes totally!!!! I never thought about SJP but you’re so right. Except hers would be short to show off her awesome legs!

  3. 90’s revival all the way! haha… let’s just leave the 80’s where they lay. I love slip dresses, however, if you do not have your body it may not look as gorgeous!
The blush/pink trend is my fav right now. I am just having a hard time finding the right tone.
Also, just to make you laugh at me… Have you heard of Bitmoji’s? Where you can customize it so it looks like you? I have a confession… I change my bitmoji’s clothes each day to match my outfit! hahaha everyone thinks I’m nuts, but it just doesn’t feel right if it doesn’t represent me that day!

    1. Girl, that’s what a great pair of Spanx is for! I totally agree I can’t get enough of blush. I LOVE Bitmoji’s and the fact that you change its clothes is AMAZING!

    1. I used to only have a side part and have slowly changed – it’s possible, you just have to train your hair!
