I’m excited to share a faux leather fit and flare skirt with you guys and how I’ve syled it because when September begins, it always happens. I’m ready to bring out fall pieces even though it still feels like summer…and out comes the leather (or pleather, vegan leather, leatherette or faux leather).  I think faux leather so versatile and can be worn so many different ways – a jacket, pants, a skirt – leather sleeves, cuffs, trims.  Obsession shared here, here and here.

This fuller skirt has been easy to tuck tanks into and bring out the pleather while still staying cool.  Worn with my super comfortable blackout tee, Meshka Design foldover clutch and my latest obsession, this silk Joules scarf.  I think a scarf is such a quick and easy way to add additional color and pattern to an outfit, especially if you’re like me and tend to wear a lot of solids.  I love this scarf’s beautiful detailing and combination of red and baby blue, two colors I love pairing.

blazer – H&M (old), love this one / top – blackout. (c/o) / skirt – Forever21 (old), similar here and here / bag – Meshka Design / silk scarf – Joules (c/o) / heels – Zara / bracelets – assorted David Yurman, Birds on a Wire Vintage (c/o), J.Girls Jewels (c/o – don’t forget to enter to win one of your own!), Henri Bendel

Thank you for reading!! The giveaway winner will be announced today – stay tuned!  Thank you so much to all who entered and thank you for reading. XO –

  1. Not everyone can pull off a silk scarf but the international details on yours totally made it chic! Love this outfit.
