While we were in Mississippi, we met my brother-in-law downtown for lunch. He told us to check out Farish Street on our way home and while a little scary considering it is mostly deserted lots…it was also really neat to check out some of the old architecture, like the brick wall with the Coca Cola logo.
I did my best to dress for fall while still staying cool (those who know me well know I strongly dislike sweating and I’m easily hot – call me the Ice Queen), and this was my best “transitional fall” look, layering a vest over a summer maxi. Y’all know I love my maxis and I think layering them is a great way to get through those in-between summer and fall days.
