The temps have actually dropped in Southern California, and it might be the coldest it’s ever been in Orange County since I’ve lived here.  Honestly, we’ve been loving it just because it’s a change from what we have everyday… but I’ve forgotten about my two personal inconveniences of bundling.  Like:

1) Static.  Static everywhere.

2) Being cold and then walking indoor anywhere, having a hot flash, and having to carry your coat, scarf, hat, gloves and try not to lose one or all of them… or is this just me?

Other than that, it’s been a treat to have the heater running and wear some of the winter pieces that I only get to wear when we go to the mountains.  This pink coat has been my go-to. And I always have a little personal lap heater in my Lula, who is actually sitting on my lap as I type this.

Because the accessories make any outfit, today I’m teaming up with Max & Chloe to give one lucky reader $100 to shop!  This necklace and ring came from Max & Chloe and with their selection, I think any gal can find something shelves.  Check out how you could win below!

    1. Love the way you put that. 🙂 Thanks for your kind words and for stopping by! XO

  1. Static and bundling and then taking it off and putting it back on and taking it back off are the EXACT reasons I don’t like cold weather! We were having an unusually warm (60 degrees) January here in Atlanta until this morning when I took the dogs out in pj shorts and it was 25! Ugh!

    Thanks for the giveaway!!

    1. Right? I’m not kidding, when we were moving recently I had like, SIX cans of static guard. THAT’S how much I hate static – full size, travel size – I have it all! Maybe y’all will get some snow in ATL!

  2. Oh yes I totally feel you about having hot flashes as soon as you walk inside! I don’t know if I’m just more sensitive to temperature changes than other people but I’m always stripping everything off while other people seem content to stay in their outdoor gear. Lovely coat and scarf!

    1. COMPLETELY AGREE. Christian is just standing there, still bundled, looking great. My face is red, I feel sweat on my hairline and I’m like LORD GOD HELP ME GET THIS JACKET OFF IMMEDIATELY. Thank you for letting me know I’m not the only one! XO

  3. I absolutely love this outfit and think you look so chic! Blush pink is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, and the scarf and beanie you accessorized with are adorable! And, I’ve been wanting that Wifey tee for so long now (need to just pull the trigger on buying it)…

I just loved this post, and have my fingers crossed on the giveaway! They have some gorgeous jewels.

    1. Thanks doll! You need the tee. Not only is it cute but it’s also SO soft. Get yourself one! Yay – thank you for entering the giveaway! XO

  5. Hi!
OMG, just love this outfit! The coat is freaking gorgeous!! <3
I'd like to buy it, but I don't know which size would fit me best =/ Which size did you order? And would it be possible to know how tall you are? Thanks in advance for your help! <3

    1. Hi Valerie! I belive this coat is a medium. It’s intended to be a looser fit. I am 5’7″. Hope this helps! XO
