Pink Winter Coat

The temps have actually dropped in Southern California, and it might be the coldest it’s ever been in Orange County since I’ve lived here.  Honestly, we’ve been loving it just because it’s a change from what we have everyday… but I’ve forgotten about my two personal inconveniences of bundling.  Like:

1) Static.  Static everywhere.

2) Being cold and then walking indoor anywhere, having a hot flash, and having to carry your coat, scarf, hat, gloves and try not to lose one or all of them… or is this just me?

Other than that, it’s been a treat to have the heater running and wear some of the winter pieces that I only get to wear when we go to the mountains.  This pink coat has been my go-to. And I always have a little personal lap heater in my Lula, who is actually sitting on my lap as I type this.

  3. Static and bundling and then taking it off and putting it back on and taking it back off are the EXACT reasons I don’t like cold weather! We were having an unusually warm (60 degrees) January here in Atlanta until this morning when I took the dogs out in pj shorts and it was 25! Ugh!

    1. Right? I’m not kidding, when we were moving recently I had like, SIX cans of static guard. THAT’S how much I hate static – full size, travel size – I have it all! Maybe y’all will get some snow in ATL!

  4. Oh yes I totally feel you about having hot flashes as soon as you walk inside! I don’t know if I’m just more sensitive to temperature changes than other people but I’m always stripping everything off while other people seem content to stay in their outdoor gear. Lovely coat and scarf!

    1. Hi Valerie! I belive this coat is a medium. It’s intended to be a looser fit. I am 5’7″. Hope this helps! XO
