mongolian fur vest

When it comes to dressing for a holiday weekend, there are a few things to consider:

Stay comfy.

Look photo-ready because you know Aunt Martha is pulling out her camera.

Stay warm.

Give yourself some eating space.

Or at least, these are my priorities. This is why this kind of look is exactly what I plan to be wearing over the holidays.  A big cozy sweater, faux leather leggings that are stretchy yet suck you in and OTK boots  (currently 50% off) that are slimming on everyone.  If you want to step it up a notch, throw on a furry vest or trendy belt bag to cinch your waist.

Stylish and cozy – bring on the pics, Aunt Martha!

What kind of house are you in for the holidays? Are you guys in pajamas until noon or sweatshirts in the evening? Or do you like to put together an outfit so you look your best for the extended fam? I’d love to hear your holiday environment!

Thanks so much for reading – XO –

  1. So you seem to be writing about fashion that doesn’t have to cost a fortune, but you’re advertising a 50% off sale in which a pair of boots is now $400, and we no longer have to pay the $800 they originally sold for? That’s not my idea of down to earth prices for fashion at all. I’m out!

    1. This blog is about attainable luxury. I style everything from Forever21 to Chanel… and often together! I’ve had these boots for at least 4 years, the quality is excellent and I bought them on sale… so the cost per wear has been 100% worth it for me. High/low fashion will always be important to me, but you’re right, there are and will always be some designer splurges on this blog. And I’ve even done a post about the designer purchases that were and were not worth it. That’s what this blog is all about… and I’m grateful to the girls that connect with it. Merry Christmas to you and thanks for the feedback – xo
