When I was little, I always wanted to wear crazy outfits and loved expressing myself through how I dressed. It was great for my creativity and confidence, and even when I looked like a dingdong my artist mom had no problem with it. “Dare to be different!,” was her common phrase -

Trying to allow my kids to be what they want for Halloween, even though I’d rather them be a cute little puppy dog and teddy bear. 🐶🐻

They felt like a million bucks, and it reminded me of being a kid and loving the costume that I chose for myself. 🤍
