There actually were two other fabulous girly dinner plans and I just don’t have the video to prove it.

I’m not even a big birthday person and this year it felt like a month long party. What a TREAT! One of the best birthdays I’ve had in many, many years.

As one of my dearest once said, “if we don’t celebrate ourselves, who will?” 💕🫶🏼

Obviously I’m not going to do my hair or makeup for the next three days, so I’m just trying to make sure I see everyone in one swoop ya know.

I confessed on stories yesterday that my summer WFH mom mind and soul has been a real doozy (a nicer way of saying relentless). I really wasn’t feeling like the woman I want to be.

But on a call with my sister @sarahthorneart today, she reminded me of the beauty of God’s 24-hour day. It starts, and it ends. What a gracious gift that we may start new, show up and try again.

So that’s what we are going to do. Worked on my self talk and mindset today. Kicked it off with a 10-item gratitude list. 🫶🏼
