Woke up to the most beautiful and magical first snow day for Theo and Stella. ❄️

The melancholy feeling, knowing so much of beautiful California is turning to ash. I have so many joyful, awe-stricken moments in these areas, now engulfed in flames.💔

Trying to figure out how I plan to help. So many great resources online about how to donate and contribute.

All of that to say, waking up to see our home covered in fluffy white snow… feeling incredibly grateful and lucky. 🤍

My word going into 2024 was PEACE.

This past year was a season of a lot of changes (another baby, unexpectedly buying a house and selling ours in 4 days, renovations, etc), and I was hoping to cling to and seek as much peace as I possibly could amidst the chaos.

Pulling some of these clips from the year really reminded me how much peace truly was achieved. Don’t get me wrong, it was hard. I had a high risk pregnancy that wasn’t easy. We had a baby in the NICU. I’m juggling more than I ever have. But if my 18 y/o self could see the next 15+ years in a crystal ball, I think she would be so so excited and thankful.

Life is both hard AND wonderful. 🤍

Thanks to so much inspiration from you guys, I’m starting 2025 with the word SAVOR. Challenging myself to savor all the good, all the riches, all the blessings, all the peace. Savor it all.

2 TB whole cloves
3-4 sprigs rosemary

Stella’s first Thanksgiving, long drive and trip to Mississippi. It was fun, it was hard, we are sleepy and thankful. 🦃🤍 It’s no surprise what I’m most thankful for this year - feeling like my whole family is at the table. 🥹

Excited to dive into Christmas and to spend it at home. Our first in this house!

I need to know - if you have little kids, how many drives over 6 hours do you do a year? I didn’t grow up driving that much outside of a summer beach trip, so I’m trying to have a good attitude.. but I honestly hate being in the car more than 4 hours. 😵‍💫🥴☠️ I’m not a great road trip girlie. SOS!
