Yesterday I shared I was “getting my pink back,” a term used to express feeling like yourself again and connecting with your own identity after having a baby. It’s a PROCESS, and one that always takes me around 9 months to start to feel.

A few things I did this time around:

- attended Pilates classes 1-2x a week until 37 weeks pregnant, combined this with @thesculptsociety prenatal classes at home

- returned to exercise 8 weeks postpartum

- intermittent fasting (more out of necessity due to having Stella home with me + working, but still helpful! 🤪)

- focus on protein, fiber and LOTS of vegetables + water. Typically this looks like a healthy lunch, light afternoon snack and dinner with my family. Yes I eat carbs, don’t want to live without them!

- cut back alcohol to a few drinks on the weekends, if at all

- was on Prozac before, during and after pregnancy (prescribed by my internist) which gave me my best and most joyful pregnancy and postpartum experience of my life. 20/10 recommend, talk to your MD.

- rarely eat out, maybe 1-2x a week. Mostly eating food at home which greatly helps me eat more nutrient-dense meals.

Kind of a boring answer, but this ain’t my first rodeo and I really tried to be patient with myself. You created a HUMAN, with all of its organs and it’s a freaking miracle! Love your body and treat it well. You deserve it. 😘😘

A full before & after of the boys shared bathroom today on CarrieBradshawLied.com (including paint colors and links)! This was a big project last year that I GC-ed myself after a full gut on our previous home primary bathroom. 🔨🛁

It was a lot of moving parts but so worth it. The @kohler plumbing pieces with @locustlanerugs and @weezietowels… I love it so much.

I spend a lot of time brushing teeth and washing tushies in here, so I wanted it to feel sweet and classic, just like my guys.
