Honeymooning is what makes all of the wedding preparation stress worth it.  Hands down the best week of my life, spent with the husband (!!!) at the Rosewood Mayakoba.  We were already talking about when we could come back before we hadn’t even left!

Here are some photos from the week, and any engaged gals out there – I can’t recommend this spot enough if you’re considering Mexico.

Our ferry ride to our villa…with our butler, Ana, waiting for us.  I think my cheerfulness and excitement took her by surprise…but I mean… clearly I was excited!

I was so touched and surprised when Christian surprised me with an extra sparkly band in the car when we left the reception.  Love love love.

There you  have it — the best seven days of my life and a trip that I will cherish for years.  No worries – I only took 800+ photos and videos so I don’t think I’ll forget a minute.  I’m that lady – she crazy.

Already saving for an anniversary trip…in my dreams! Thank you so much for reading – XO –

  1. There is nothing better than the honeymoon!! That was the best week of my life too! You both look soooo happy and your outfits are gorgeous!

Where did you get the black backless dress? I am in love!

  2. Y’all are so precious! Honeymoon looks fabulous. And don’t worry. We’ve all done that bike ride thing. People will just never see what we’ve seen and we’ll have to come to terms with it… ;).

  3. What a perfect honeymoon! What a gorgeous ring set, and I adore all of your bright and colorful outfits with lots of baubles. 😉

  4. Hey!! So we are currently considering this as an option for our honeymoon as well. Which villas did you stay in? Did you do a package or anything? I am a LITTLE concerned because we are getting married early August, so our honeymoon will be smack dab in the middle of hurricane season, so there is that. I would welcome any tips or advice that you may have on the Rosewood!! Thanks!

    1. My husband planned the entire trip, surprising me when we got there, but I do know we stayed in a villa on the lagoon and loved every minute. I’m not completely sure what package or deal he chose, but we stayed 7 nights in November after our wedding and it was a total dream!! I would go back in a minute and can’t recommend it enough!

      1. Carrie I actually got married at the Mayakoba in 2011. Got chills just looking at your pics. We were married on the lagoon. I agree the place was magical. If you get a chance have your hubby take you to Las Ventanas its another one of their properties the beach is not as nice as it is at the Mayakoba but everything else was fabulous
