– fresh asparagus for an (attempted) week of healthy eating –

I’m sad that the holiday weeks are over!!  I have definitely been enjoying taking these mid-week breaks, although it does make it harder to go back to work, right?  2014 is here and giving all of us a fresh start. Some things I plan to work on this year (even if it’s just in January, sssshhh don’t tell) are:

  • Be more mindful and intentional with the foods I’m putting into my body.
  • Take more time to enjoy the small things and the present and put away the electronics.
  • Spend more time outside.
  • Take a photography class.
  • Go to more wine tastings.
  • Perfect homemade granola bars for Christian.
  • Find a townhouse to move into that has a sunny spot for a lemon tree.
What are some of the things you want to work on this year?  Do share, you might inspire me to add to my list!  I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year’s Eve and here’s to the weekend!  Thanks so much for reading – XO –

  1. Love that macaroon shaped lip balm!! Too cute! Great goals for January/the year haha!! I’d like to continue working on my blog and just publish great posts!! Pretty easy right? Happy Friday!

  2. I am now craving some fresh asparagus! Good think I am headed over to Central Market here in a bit!!! And we have a lime tree in our backyard (it’s actually more of a bush) and it produces the most wonderful limes…you can’t go wrong with lemon or lime tree! I like your list for 2014- totally attainable and I wish you all the best!

  3. I like your goal about being unplugged. I really need to get off my phone/ipad/computer and just relax once in a while.

I love that bracelet from Design Darling. Although I have to disagree, TGIF. I had to come back to work yesterday and I am ready for it to be the weekend.

    1. Thanks lady! I actually bought it at this little Asian market – so it didn’t have any English on the packaging. I wish it did though – pretty adorable! Know that it did cost $10…which is way too much for macaroon lip balm.
