Designer Bag Look for Less

I always have a list of dream bags in my head… some I’ve been able to save up and make come true, others might be on my lust list forever. So for those far off dreams, sometimes you find a designer look for less close enough to fill the void!  I discovered Teddy Blake last year (another bag styled here), and I really love the quality of their  bags.

They’re made of Italian leather (Buti), and are such a great size for travel. I wore their bags all over NYC at Christmas last year and took the taupe one to London in October!  When they offered to send me a new color for spring, I knew this soft pink would be perfect. I had never had a pink handbag until about two years ago, and I was so surprised to find that it really acted as a neutral and goes with everything.

If you want to expand the color of your bags but want a color that is still going to be versatile and go with most of your closet – I think a soft pink or navy blue would be two great color options!

  4. I am obsessed with this color! I’ve been getting my nails done in this soft pink for a while now and love it. My 2 colors of bags on my list are pink and grey or silver. I lean towards Michael kors, so I’m nexcited to see the spring colors come out and crossing my fingers!

  8. I don’t wear leather but that bag is so pretty! I’m definitely gonna be trying to find faux leather dupes of it!

  11. I’m sorry but this company rips off the designer of Hermes Birkin and Kelly. They say it’s not pretending to be hermes because they don’t put on the logo but they are replicating the kelly as close as possible and not putting their own design spin. A lot of bags have been compared to the kelly or birkin which I don’t mind but this is such a clear rip off.

    1. I think a lot of bags mimic other designs (take a look at Rebecca Minkoff vs Balenciaga), and of course this is inspired by the Kelly bag. You are certainly entitled to feel that way and of course, not purchase this particular bag.

  12. Awwww…. My dear Kathleen – I fell deeply in love with your bag!! It’s the perfect color and I love the size and how it fits. <3 (I hope they ship bags to Germany. :))
    My dream-bag at the moment is the Céline Luggage ( AND Céline Luggage, YSL Kate and of course the classic Chanel 2.55, but that one won't be affordable in this year).
