If any of you have been reading this blog for a little while, I’ve shared my love for maxi skirts multiple times.  This Morning Lavender beauty stole my heart the minute I laid eyes on it. I’d like to think at this point in my life I know how to dress for my body, and a midi skirt or maxi skirt is definitely one of my favorite ways to highlight my waist and camouflage these thighs my lovely grandmother Bette passed down to me. Thanks girlfriend!

These heels actually have a great story.  I work with a gal who’s mother works with the Kardashian clan in Calabasas (mostly with Kris). Every now and then, the Kardashian/Jenner girls will hand over some things from their closet to my friend’s mom to give to her girls.  These shoes were Kendall Jenner’s and didn’t fit my coworker, so they have now ended up in my closet!

  13. Holy wow…this outfit is truly just stunning and beyond! Def one of my all time fave looks on you. What’s cool is I could see this casually, or, I could see this at quite a formal event…could go either way. All they have left in the skirt is a large…bummer. Does it by chance run small???

    1. I think it runs pretty true to size – but I’m crossing my fingers for a restock! It’s such a pretty skirt – did you see the blue?

  23. Kathleen– this outfit is gorgeous! You look so lovely in it! That color is fantastic on you. What a fun story about the shoes too 🙂 I love how the great length of a maxi skirt visually elongates the body; I always feel like I look so much taller when I wear them (especially with heels)!

    I think I’m going to have to order that lace crop top… I have a beautiful floral-print maxi skirt I’m planning to wear to a semi-informal wedding later on this summer, and have been looking for an amazing crop top to pair with it. It’s ok to wear white as long as it’s only a small fraction of the outfit, right!?
