This is my last Big Bear post from our anniversary trip and while we were there less than a month ago…I am already planning a trip back.  We straight up skip winter weather in Southern California and I literally crave the cold!  The grass is always greener, I know, but I have a stack of sweaters that are practically collecting dust and it’s mildly depressing.

I snagged this mens flannel shirt years ago and it has elbow patches which I seriously love.  I’m convinced mens plaid shirts are better than women’s because they’re a looser, more “boyfriend” style fit that just feels so much more comfortable than a fitted women’s shirt.  No shame.  I am who I am.

coated denim (on super sale!) | flannel – Forever21 Mens, old, love this one and this one | scarf – Zara, no longer available, similar here and here | bag | boots | leg warmers c/o L.Mae Boutique | hat | sunnies | cuff c/o Brahmin, love this one | lipstick

Do you have a favorite cozy flannel or sweater that you keep reaching to right now?  I’m always in the shopping mood, so I’d love to hear.  Thanks for reading!  XO –

  1. No shame girl! I also purchase men’s plaid shirts! They seem to fit a bit better (loose-fitted) and the sleeves tend to be longer for us tall girls! Thanks for sharing such a cute look!

    1. Thank you for the moral support!! 100% agree on the length – I have a giraffe torso I need the extra inches!

    1. I’ve never been to Canada but I’ve ALWAYS wanted to visit!! I think it looks GORGEOUS. Let’s trade!! XOXO

  2. I lived in Lexington for three years, so plaid and flannel were always appropriate go-tos. My favorite shirt is from Old Navy’s boy’s section. Funny enough, it’s the one my friends always ask to borrow!

    1. I love it. Little boys section!! Love that – I’ve also heard that Brooks Brothers boys section has the best classic blazers, isn’t that funny? Thanks for sharing! XO
