I must confess, I had quite the polo shirt collection in high school. I had all these spring colors that I would wear with my bootcut jeans and summer shorts, but the one that got the most wear was my classic white one.
I love a collared shirt, so why not pull out my high school favorite again? And better yet… let’s double that collar, girl.
This look is a fun little twist on how I use to wear my Polo Ralph Lauren shirts (classic with denim). I love the idea of layering it with chambray and tucking them into a mini skirt. Classic can still be unique and flirty!
polo | similar chambray | skirt – Storets (old), also love this skirt and this skirt | similar sunglasses | loving this red bag
Do you have a history with the Ralph Lauren’s classic polo? I’d love to hear. I know I can’t be the only one who has all the high school nostalgia!
Below are some of my favorite picks from their collection at Macy’s. This dress!? Yes, please.
Thanks so much for reading and sharing – XO –

Great post! I never wore much Ralph Lauren, but I wore plenty of Hollister polos back in high school. Great outfit by the way!

Oh man, I lusted over the RL polos when I was in school! We were too poor, though, so I wore the knock-offs from Target!
Love this look!

I have a RL polo shirt with the logo made of Swarovski crystals. It’s from an old resort collection and I have been looking for a way to update it. By the way, where did you get those shoes. I love the height of the heel!!
I love that you made a classic look modern and edgy!
