Two Chic Linen Looks

I recently shared these two looks on Instagram here, but both outfits are Lafayette 148 NY from Neiman Marcus and they were just so cute they needed a little extra spotlight.

A linen shorts suit? Nothing I don’t like about that. And a beautiful yellow dress, all easy breezy and with pockets? Can’t get enough. Both looks run on the larger side, so I would recommend sizing down one full size.

I am obsessed with both looks. One cannot go wrong with linen, and depending on the work environment both could be worn there.

We had already moved the art over the buffet at this point but this was the best I could do on the countdown of time we had left. 🫠

Wallpapering our dining room in the new house this month with something a little more simple, and I can’t wait. Still absolutely LOVE how this turned out. We had the party invitation weeks in advance. It was taped up by the pantry: “black and white cocktail attire.”

My phone randomly presented a little slideshow this morning of 2017 and wow… the joy these memories brought me. 💕

Genuinely love my slower paced life with littles now but man, we did some livin’. My 20’s were so adventure-filled and now that I have different responsibilities, I’m so grateful I did the damn thing while life was so much simpler.

Around this age I asked Helena of @brooklynblonde1 if she ever wished she had had children earlier and she said, “no, never.” It was such wonderful advice for me and so I want to say the same to my younger girlies. I had my first child at 32 and have no regrets whatsoever. Enjoy your freedom! 🥰💋
