Stripes and plaid… will this combination ever get old?  I don’t think so.  This is a go-to look for me in the fall and winter months when I want to look put together for a day of shopping or playing around town, and just what I went for when we were with my family in Santa Monica and Malibu for the holidays.  And this layered cardigan?  Don’t even get me started.  I’m having a serious navy moment (I recognize I’m late to said moment) and am even pairing it with black.  I’m into it!

I snagged these boots on Black Friday and have been wearing them nonstop.  A 3.5″ heel, which is comfortable for me for an all day boot… but not comfortable enough to walk two miles back from shopping to our rental house.  It happens.  Luckily, I had my sister, niece and Christian to keep me entertained!

  1. I would pair them with my black, lace-up heels, red lipstick, and a gold statement necklace. I’d keep it fairly simple.

    1. Thanks so much Justine!! I am still giddy about that little tour – it was such a treat to share! XO

  2. what size did you buy in that navy cardigan? I don’t know what your height/weight is, but we look about the same size. Love your outfit and I’m looking forward to buying that cardigan!

  3. I love love love off-the-shoulder necklines! I would style this so many different ways. I like the look of a collared blouse underneath the off-the-shoulder (although I would do a cropped version so the cut out is still effective) and do flats for a casual look. Throw a blazer over it and some matte tights and pumps or booties and the dress is office appropriate, and then take off the blazer and wear some sexy heels and you are ready for a night out! I would also put a maxi or midi skirt over it and use the dress as a top or vice versa(a sweater or knotted tee over the top and it works as a skirt). I love taking a basic piece and transforming it.

  4. I would style this dress with black heels and all gold jewelry. And the 3.5″ heels, my hats off to you!! I could work in 3″ heels all day but not walk 2 miles. My feet are getting too old. Thanks for this opportunity.

  5. I’d wear it with black shoes and gold or sparkly accessories 🙂 thanks for this lovely giveaway ♥
