I mean… sequin joggers don’t really need an explanation.  Cause they’re awesome.  Baggy and covered in sequins is basically a pair of Kathleen’s dream pants and Christian’s worst nightmare.

I’m into it.

And because these pants aren’t loud enough on their own, I added some leopard pumps in the mix to keep it crazy.

So I tried to pull off the half-up top knot and I don’t think I’m doing it right.  I LOVE it on shorter hair but while I thought it looked cute on me in the mirror, when I looked at these photos afterward I was like, “Christian why didn’t you tell me I looked like a crazy person?”  And he was all, “You’re a sequined MC Hammer and you think your hair is what makes you look crazy?”

Do any of you longer haired gals have tricks for this ‘do?  I’d love to hear! Thanks for reading – XO –

  1. Try the half-up top knot with a little curl/more body to your hair and a slightly small but messier top knot- I think that works best for long hair! Its been what works best for me. My inspiration for this look is Megan Mitchell of Styled Avenue- her instagram has a few pictures of the hair-do ( insta name: MEG_LEGS). Keep trying, I think it looks great on you! But I totally know what you mean about a less than desirable mirror to photo transformation. I’m sure you’ll perfect it in no time!

    1. Ok first of all, SHE’S STUNNING. Secondly – you are so right – she nails the top knot! Thanks for the inspo and tip, you rock! XOXO

  2. I think you’re hair looks cute! Maybe mussing it up a little would help though. My hair is the same length and every time I try the half up I can’t decide if it looks awesome or weird. Love the detailing on your jacket too!

    1. Totally agree with you – I think messy could be key here. Thanks for the suggestion – I say we both tried it out!! XOXO
