Styling a Blanket Scarf

So I don’t know if I’ve fully shared my love of cashmere and eBay on this blog before, but there’s no time like the present.

My entire family, actually, is all about some eBay.  I’ve snagged fragrances, Lacoste sweaters, a Burberry trench, designer belts, you name it.  In this case, I adore cashmere but refuse to pay hundreds of dollars for it, especially now that I live somewhere that rarely dips below 55 degrees.

Not to worry, this season I’ve snagged camel and black cashmere turtlenecks on eBay, as well as an oversized gray cashmere batwing sweater that is like wearing a blanket, and I love it.  I didn’t pay more than $40 per item, and I know these are chilly weather staples that will be hanging in my closet for years to come.

I must also share that these leggings are my new lifeline.  They are made of extremely durable and thick while flattering fabric that also has a tummy control panel.  I love them so much I could marry them.  I’ve been wearing them at least once a week and love how comfortable and sleek they are. I seriously should just go ahead and throw all of my other leggings in the trash because these are 800x more flattering.

  3. LOVE ebay!! Personalized dog collars, jewelry from China for $1, Ray bans, hammock chair (definitely look this up if you don’t know what it is), Michael Kors purses, the list goes on. See something you like on Pinterest and its out of your price range- check eBay! Love this post.

  8. cashmere on ebay, i never would have thought of that!!! i honestly rarely buy anything on ebay because it scares me but recently i scored a pair of lookalike SW lowland boots and OMG i am OB-SESSED!!! they came straight from china but i am telling you, they look legit! i know because i have tried them on in stores so that i could pretend for a hot minute that i owned them hahaa.

    now i am an ebay lover 😉

    1. Don’t get me wrong – I’ve gotten some busts too. I paid $80 for two dresses and the quality when they came in was not so great and it was just a loss. BUT I also have scored some amazing vintage designer items – so like any auction – online or in person – it can be a gamble. It just depends on how much you’re willing to risk! I also try to only purchase from US sellers, which can eliminate some of the junk that’s on there.
