I bet you’re all, “GIRL – you’re in a mini skirt in the snow… what is wrong with you!?”  Just to be fair, we photographed these on our last day and it was in the 30’s (rather than the 10 degrees in the days prior), so it felt warm in comparison!

This little skirt may have felt a little too Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman with heels, but with over-the-knee boots an a turtleneck, it was just right.  And after a few months of having these boots in both the heeled version and flat version, I am so glad I took the plunge.  They elevate almost any outfit and are much more comfortable than most heels I own.  If you’re debating – I give them an A+!

Thanks so much for reading! And a little question… I started Whole30 with Christian on 12/31.  Would you guys be interested in hearing a weekly update in Friday’s Five about the progress, favorite meals, struggles, etc.? I’ve been sharing my meals on Snapchat (CBLied) and people are screenshotting like cray so I’m wondering if this si something y’all might want to see? Let me know what you think! XO –

  1. I love this look Kathleen! The gray mini is perfection! Love it with the OTK boots too – I’m desperate to get these (the flats though as I think I’d wear them more) for our winter. We’ve got some winter holidays planned in the snow and I can’t wait! Need some OTK boots for sure though. Also, I’d love to hear all about your experiences, meals, struggles etc with Whole 30! xx

  2. I love your site – the fashion and decor especially. I’m not very interested in diets, though. Especially if it’s sponsored. Please don’t go there. 🙂

    1. It’s definitely no sponsored – and more than a diet, it’s a healthy eating plan (think eating whole foods from a farm for 30 days). But I appreciate your honesty!

  3. Girl, you look fab, per usual! I would kill for those boots! I would also kill for a decent payday, but ya know, struggle. Would love to hear about your Whole30 journey. So far I’ve just switched to black coffee, and it’s been killer, so bless ya!

  4. Earmuffs, YESS! What a cool twist on a winter look with the mini! Love it!

Also, I’m one of those that are snap-shotting your meals as I’m trying Whole30 out too, so I’d LOVE you to post about it!

    Happy New Year!

  5. I’m really interested in Whole 30 and would love to read posts about it. I know you have the Whole 30 book, but did you also read It Starts with Food? ( I think that’s what it’s called.) Love following you on Snap Chat. I think you may need your own Youtube channel! 🙂 Happy New Year!

  6. Love your blog! Pleassse post some Whole30 updates. I’ve done Whole30 before and am currently pregnant. I am excited to do it again once the baby arrives! Also, would LOVE to hear about your laser hair removal experience!

  7. You look amazing! Love the beautiful trees and snow as your backdrop 🙂 Yes to Whole30 updates, please!

  8. Would LOVE to hear about your Whole30 progress. My roommate and I plan to start it in February, and would love any recipes you may decide to share on the blog!…or any suggestions where you are getting your recipes : )

  9. Cutest outfit! I love the ear muff boot combo both in black! Whole 30 isn’t for me but I bet a lot of people would like to hear details. I love your blog!

  10. OTK boots are the best way to wear a mini in the cold months. You look fab. And I’m enjoying your Whole30 updates on Snap – I actually didn’t know anything about it before you started, and I’m now intrigued. Good luck, keep it up!
