If you follow CBL on Insta-Story you probably recognize this shirt. I actually immediately linked it to my right sidebar section titled “seen on snapchat and insta-stories” because I got so many questions about it, and it’s totally worthy because it’s my favorite striped shirt right now!

It’s got a loose, boyfriend fit without being too baggy, and it’s incredibly soft and thin.  I love the blue stripes and that the pocket stripes go horizontally rather than vertically. So cute!

I paired it with the distressed boyfriend shorts I have in two colors, and I’ve also worn it with flare jeans for a date night look. Comfortable and effortless – and it will easily take you into fall.

Are you a striped shirt lover? I love a good black or navy striped tee but I think this is such a fun twist on the striped trend.  A littler dressier but easily dressed down with a pair of shorts or boyfriend jeans.

I linked some more of my favorite button front striped tops above!  Thanks so much for reading – XO –

  1. love this top! What size are you wearing? About to order and it looks like it may run big. Thoughts?

    1. I think it runs true to size but is more of a boyfriend fit, but if you want a more fitted look I’d size down. I ordered my normal size and wanted it roomy!

  2. So cute! I love the way you added a pop of color with the sandals. That top would also be really cute just loose and over a pair of white shorts for a country club vibe ?

  3. I love this striped top, especially with your pink heels and pom pom clutch! So cute! By the way, I absolutely loved your post about your grandmother. She sounded like a really special lady.

  4. Hi Kathleen, I just went out and bought this striped top this afternoon, hopefully I can pull it off like you do. Seeing that gorgeous necklace on your neck had me wondering though, how do you store your jewelry, especially such delicate statement pieces like this one? I’m looking for an aesthetic way to do so and was wondering if you had any tips.

    1. I hope you love it! I store rings and bracelets in drawers (I use dividers to keep them organized) and hang necklaces on hammered nails in my closet. We are in a small townhouse – so it’s the best I can do for now!

  5. Hi would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
