When I’m preparing outfits for a tropical vacation… you know I immediately go to maxi dresses. They feel laid back while still glamorous and “special” for a special trip.

When I was packing, I didn’t want to bring anything too summery, but I still wanted to dress for the weather (my #1 tip for anyone traveling anywhere at any time – dress for the forecast!).  This black maxi dress was exactly that – beachy and feminine in a seasonally appropriate color palette.  I’m sharing the details of this look and some of my favorite styles below!

Christian snapped these photos before our welcome dinner with the Coppola Wine team.  Combining adventure and wine is basically our dream vacation – combining some of his/her favorite hobbies.  We have had the most fabulous time experience the Coppola properties in Belize and have fallen in love with this country!
