I think an all-black look can definitely be super sleek and chic.  When I lived in Southern California, I never really wore all black because it just felt so intense in such a sunny, beachy, palm tree-loving place.  But living in SF, I’ve returned to loving wearing black on black.  It feels so boss lady!

My tip for wearing all of one color is to try to mix it up with the textures.  Leather, velvet, wool – the contrast in textures will make your look interesting even though you’re sticking to only one color.

This top is so stretchy and comfortable – plus be sure to check out the little tulip cut back with buttons – so so cute!  I would have never known to shop this brand or look for a velvet button front top if not for receiving it in my StitchFix box, so it was a fun surprise.
