I’ve styled this trench many times on this blog, including this spring look and this fresh look that I still love so much. But now that I live somewhere with a little more gray and rain, I style it completely different. And that’s the perk of investing in classic, chic pieces that will take you far. Over the years, you can style them so many different ways and continue to recreate that one classic piece.
One big theme with the luxury pieces I invest in – they’re typically solids. With the exception of a leopard print bag (mentioned yesterday), I’m usually sticking to neutrals and I’ve never regretted it. And the place you can always find designer staples is Nordstrom. If you’re thinking about splurging on a piece to add to your spring wardrobe, you can always count on Nordstrom to have what you’re looking for and to get it to you quickly (with free returns!).
I’ve purchased countless investment pieces from them, and I love knowing that if I need to exchange it for another size or change my mind, it is no problem. The best!

What are some investments you’ve made in your closet? Were they worth the splurge or no? I’d also love to hear what’s on your wish list!
A few things on my wish list:
Thanks so much for reading and sharing – XO –
brought to you by Nordstrom
I also think investing in classics is the best way to go, they’re pieces we’ll get tons of wear out of and they’ll never not be trendy or out of style.

Thanks for leaving two price point options! Love the coat
Trench coats are wardrobe staples and I love the color of this one. Handbags are my biggest investment and I love that they stand the test of time. On my wish list, of course, is a belt bag! I would love a belt bag. Hehe

It took me a little bit longer to get onboard with the belt bag but now that I have one I truly love it so much more than I thought I would!
love this look!
I try to invest in bags and coats but I am slowly making my way upward on the designer scale haha my ultimate dream is to have a Chanel bag, I don’t even care if it’s used or not haha
