I love a satin slip dress (like this one, this one and this one), but I love a slip midi skirt as much or even more. You can dress it up or dress it down and it’s appropriate for any occasion – GNO, church, work, date night, a wedding, bridal/baby shower, you name it.
I love this skirt so much I bought it black and yellow as well! I just think there’s something understated yet overstated about a satin element. Also? They’re year-round, sister. Wear it with a tee or sleeveless top in the summer and layer a sweater and sock booties during the fall and winter.
And the best part? It’s under $50. Trust me, you’re not going to find a better deal than that for this quality.

skirt (if you’re in between sizes, size up) | top, also love this one and this one | heels, similar look for less here | bag, also love this one and this one | sunglasses | earrings | albion ring | nail ring | teardrop ring | index finger ring 1 and 2
What’s your relationship with satin/silk and is it someone you could see yourself incorporating more or no? If you’re looking for some inspiration, I could put some more casual slip skirt outfits together – just trying to take your temperature!
Thank you so much for reading! XO –
PS – HAPPY April Fools! This might be my favorite blog prank ever. I’d love to hear your best prank!

Oh I love this look on you!!
When I think of satin it makes me feel kind of uncomfortable, I don’t like it rubbing it against my skin but it does look chic, sadly. I completely forgot that it was April fools, I used to really enjoy it when I was younger but now I even forget about it…

I want to be better about incorporating more April Fools pranks into my life – the stories I hear are SO funny!

Obsessing over this look!
At Free People, we have a similar best selling skirt that we cannot seem to keep in stock. We don’t have a navy one, so I need to order this one ASAP 😉
The Champagne Edit
I’m going to have to check this skirt out!
I have been unsure about whether or not I like the satin skirt trend going on but you just changed my mind about this. I am definitely going to add this to my spring wardrobe!

I think it’s CHIC, girl!!!
I personally have not tried a silk/satin dress. I do love how it looks and would love to see more styles of it. Cute blouse. Love the ruffle details. So fun!

Love this look! Although I am not typically one for satin skirts due to my figure, since running, I think I can pull this off. The shirt helps tremendously and looks like it was made to go with the skirt. Finally, I love the color of the heels with the blue of the skirt and shirt. Thank you so much!!
This is a beautiful outfit! I love how it’s professional with a twist!
