Y’all may remember seeing a similar skirt here.  CAUSE YA DID.  I loved this beauty in red so much that I needed it in green too!

On Sunday I went to LA with my girlfriend Nikki to an Academy Awards viewing party at the W Hollywood.  I knew this skirt would bring the va-va-voom without looking like a ball gown, as if I was actually attending the awards show.  Of which I clearly was not.

I felt very Carrie Bradshaw, and I have to admit the skirt was a showstopper.  If you guys have any glam event to attend – this skirt will turn some heads, I guarantee it!

    1. Love that dress on you! I totally get it. Something about the ball gown skirt does that, right? Thanks for sharing!! Glam on – XO

  1. This ensemble is perfect! LOVE the green, it is so elegant. Now that I think of it, I’ve moved around and cleaned out my closet so much lately that I don’t have anything that makes me feel glam. This needs to be fixed!

    1. It’s GREAT that you’ve cleaned out your closet so much, but you GOTTA have something glam in there! This skirt is so affordable. You need! XO

    1. Aaawwww thank you Courtney!! Channeling my inner CB is always a winner, right? This skirt makes anyone feel glam. Seriously. I need it in every color of the rainbow!

  2. Truly a big fan of your blog. You write so well and I LOVE how much personality you show throughout each entry. You even do that on you Instagram account which I enjoy too. Your post for newer bloggers was so inspiring. The tips were not only helpful but also inspiring! I think something that I would love to see on here would be tips on how you take pictures. Your instagram and blog pics always look GREAT! I know in your FAQ section you talk about what kind of camera you and your hubby use, and I know most of the time he does shoot your portraits. I think tips on what kind of starter camera people should look into would be helpful as well as easy instructions for settings. I look forward to your next blog post!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words!! This is the sweetest comment, really it means so much to me. I read this out loud to my husband because while I’m SO flattered you think our photos are that great… we are totally still learning through trial and error! I definitely think this is a great idea for the future and I keep a little list of reader suggestions and blogpost ideas. I’m adding this to the list! Thank so much for sharing – XO –

  3. I have this skirt! I got it for the Holiday Season and haven’t worn it since. Now I see how to style it without getting the “it’s Christmas time” vibe! Love your blog!
