I’ve shared with you guys before, but for three years I worked in a very corporate setting. I’m talking no leggings, men in suits, banking corporate. Then I moved to California with the most casual workplace setting ever, and my entire closet changed! BUT, my best friend back home works in a formal workplace (she inspired this post), and I’ve thought of her when thinking of holiday outfit inspiration to share with you guys!
This Alice Hope blouse and skirt are great mix-and-match separates that can be dressed up with a fur scarf, vest or trimmed blazer. Some sparkly earrings and fab heels and you’re looking both festive and appropriate.

Perfect holiday work outfit! It drives me crazy when people go wild with their work party looks. This is perfect!

I know what you mean! I usually dress the same with a little extra sparkle or faux fur!
Very cute look! I still don’t know if it’d fly at the office I used to work at, but it’s still very professional.

What’s the dress code like at your office?
This is a pretty and appropriate look! I always feel embarrassed for the people I see at business functions dressed inappropriately, or worse, they’re s— faced drunk…

I love that SoCal generally has a pretty casual workplace dress code, but sometimes we do need to dress up a bit more. This is a great formal-without-being-too-formal look. Very nice.
