white tuxedo blazer

Last year a shared a tuxedo dress here, but this white tuxedo blazer might be one of the prettiest blazers in my closet (and I am blazer-addicted so I have quite a few).  I love wearing it with all black for a crisp and chic look, but I wanted to share how I paired it with a floral dress for a boss-lady yet feminine church outfit, baby shower look, work-appropriate look.

A blazer is probably my favorite way to make a spaghetti strap or strapless outfit acceptable for stricter dress codes. When I worked in a formal corporate office it was everything (examples here and here)!  It allowed me to maximize the pieces I already had in my closest versus having to spend money on “work clothes.” Girlfriend, that’s what cardigans and blazers are for. Don’t spend your hard-earned cash on work clothes if you don’t have to!

For other ways I like to style blazers check out casual looks here and here and a dressier look in this post.

Can you see yourself rockin’ a tuxedo piece? Even if it was a mens jacket that was belted over faux leather pants… I mean, how chic!?

And let me know if these office-approved looks are helpful to you. I’ve shared a few here, here and here but am happy to share more!

Thank you so much for reading! XO –

    1. I know! I tried to find less expensive ones but I didn’t think the quality looked nice. You can get a solid black or white blazer for much less but a well made tuxedo style is a little pricier. If you want a similar look for less I’d recommend something like this!

  1. Love this look! Huge fan of blazers and cardigans making dresses work appropriate over here!

Also, unrelated, but I’m lol’ing at that sign in the background!

  2. I love your blog and the dress plus blazer are adorable I want it all! Honestly though I can’t get over the saying on the chalkboard in your photos, it’s AMAZING! Funniest thing I have seen all day 🙂

  3. As much as I dig your fashion style, I truly adore the personal section of your blog. It’s my favorite part of your blog!!! 😉

    1. Oh my gosh HEATHER! This is the nicest comment ever. Seriously – thank you so much for sharing this feedback. Really, really appreciate it. XO
