Kicking off 2024 with some organizational inspiration because that feels right. It’s January clean-out and straighten-up season, and nothing gets me more excited than cleaning out a drawer or closet.

Two things I’ve read before that changed my organizational life are:

  1. If you can get it done in 60 seconds, don’t wait, and go ahead and do it now. If you can do it quickly, there’s no reason to put it off.
  2. When it’s time to clean out an area, take it one drawer/section at a time over a few days. So often we just blanket think about organizing as setting aside an entire morning or afternoon, etc. But even if you took one bathroom drawer a day… by the end of the week the entire bathroom would be done and you would only spend a small fraction of the day getting it done.

I plan on getting some of these pant-loop hanger hooks. Especially if you have the right space for them.

This drying mat makes so much sense. I love how easy it looks to roll up and out of the way.

These nesting bowls are so great for saving space. I have and use them almost daily.

How smart is this little rolling shelving unit for a closet? Makes so much sense.

I try to only use black velvet hangers and it saves a lot of space. Once you go no-slip, there’s no going back. Ladies, am I right?

We have two of these in our house and they are so convenient. Highly recommend!
