french connection bodycon dress

I’ve shared this before in this post and this post, but one of my favorite tricks when I worked in a formal corporate office was to layer with a blazer or trench coat. It helped me avoid buying “real clothes” and “work clothes.” I could just layer the clothes I already loved in my closet.

SO, today I’m sharing how I’d wear a classic LBD from day to night!

This dress is a great foundation piece, and it’s 100% exclusive to Bloomingdale’s. On its own it brings the va va voom for date night or you can layer it up with a longer trench (even belted over the dress would be chic) for a more professional look.  I think this would be so cute with black booties in the fall!

Scroll down to see more of my favorite classes dresses that are also 100% exclusive!

Do you have strategies for dodging buying “office” clothes? I’d love to hear! Thanks so much reading – XO –
